This is where teams will race
Here is the map, all teams will begin the race on H-10
A few rules with regards to "traveling"
Teams can travel on/over water, but MUST end their journey on LAND, in other words, any grid reference which has land on it.
To clarify before the game starts, some squares do have land on them, although they are very faint on the map (i.e same colour as Antarctica), so it's probably fair to let all the teams know in advance what these squares are.
So, the following Squares (grid reference) have some "land"
F 8
G 2 / G 8
H 2 / H 8
K 1 / K 2
N 1 / N 13
O 8 / O 18
With regards to these squares, although there is some land on them, they will not count as "travelling" through their respective continents....as trying to figure out which ones they actually belong to would be a night mare. So, to recap, you can land on those squares as they have land on them, they don't belong to nay continent.
If any team is unsure about any spaces, I will happily clarify
With regards to "travelling" through a continent, any team will be deemed to have fulfilled this "need" as long as they have traveled through a square which contains ONLY that continent (water is allowed). So, for example, a team starting on H10 manages to get 6 points in the first round, they get to travel 6 squares on the map. Should they chose to travel like this:
G 10 / F 10 / F 11 / E 11 / E 12 / D 12
then in effect, they have NOT actually yet traveled through Europe or Asia, as all the squares they have traveled on so far contain more than 1 continent. Hope this is clear.
